Borobudur or Barabudur is a 9th-century Mahayana Buddhist
temple located in Magelang Regency close to the town of Muntilan, in Central
Java, Indonesia. Borobudur temple is the world's largest Buddhist temple. The temple comprises
of nine superimposed platforms, six square and three circular, surmounted by a
central dome.
